简介：Do bank depositors reward ESG?Policymakers, investors and customers are placing greater priority on CSR, ESG, green banking and finance in response to climate-related risks. We utilise the COVID-19 pandemic as a quasi-natural experiment to determine whether, following the shock, bank depositors disciplined banks by ESG scores and rewarded (punished) more (less) trustworthy banks where trust is perceived from banks’ ESG credentials.

Williams教授是银行学和金融学专家，都灵大学、马耳他大学客座教授，欧洲银行和金融教师协会（The Wolpertinger Group）主席、英国会计和金融协会（BAFA）金融市场和机构组别（Financial Markets and Institutions Special Interest Group）财务主管，特许银行家协会（Chartered Banker Institute）质量与标准委员会成员。他的研究成果发表于Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Stability等权威国际期刊。他近期的研究兴趣包括银行业高管薪酬和公司治理、金融市场的放松管制和竞争以及金融科技等。
